Location: Buea, Cameroon

Employment Type: Full-Time, Office-Based (Monday – Friday)

Role Overview 

We seek a charismatic Podcast Host & Digital Marketer to lead The Big Picture from concept to conversion. You’ll perform two roles: engaging podcast host and strategic digital marketer, using the show’s content to attract guests, grow audiences, and turn listeners into TTNet clients.  

Key Responsibilities
  1. Podcast Hosting & Production  
  • Host high-energy, insightful podcast episodes, interviewing founders and business leaders.  
  • Research trending topics in marketing, entrepreneurship, and TTNet’s core industries (VoIP, SaaS, etc.).  
  • Proactively recruit high-profile guests (CEOs, founders, experts) aligned with TTNet’s audience.  
  • Script episode outlines and ensure content subtly highlights TTNet’s value propositions.  
  1. Social Media & Client Conversion 
  • Manage the podcast’s social media channels (LinkedIn, Instagram, Twitter, etc.) to amplify reach and engagement.  
  • Create promotional content (clips, quotes, stories) that drive traffic to TTNet’s services.  
  • Use analytics to refine strategies, track listener-to-client conversion rates, and report ROI.  
  • Collaborate with TTNet’s marketing team to align podcast content with campaigns.  
  1. Office-Based Coordination 
  • Work onsite daily to coordinate recording schedules, script edits, and marketing tasks.  
  • Maintain a pipeline of guest prospects and follow-ups.

✅ Knows how to use social media and its’ tools (Different social media platforms and a clue on the analytics section of the platforms and running social media ads)

✅ Self-starter who can juggle research, guest outreach with confidence, and content creation in a fast-paced environment.

   – Analyze competitor strategies and audience insights to refine marketing strategies and approach.  

  1. Client Conversion & Retention 

   – Collaborate with other teams to align marketing efforts with pipeline goals.  

   – Design campaigns (email workflows, retargeting ads) to convert leads and retain existing clients.  

  1. Onsite Collaboration

   – Work daily in-office to coordinate with teams, present campaign results, and adapt to evolving business priorities.

𝐋𝐨𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧: Buea, Cameroon
𝐀𝐯𝐚𝐢𝐥𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐏𝐨𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬: 4
𝐒𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐫𝐲: 70,000 XAF (Probation period of 3 months for 50,000 XAF)

Requirements:

o     2 Weeks of unpaid voluntary service
o     Must reside in Buea, SWR, Cameroon or willing to relocate.
o     Be tech savvy (computer literate).
o     Able to work 8 hour shifts between the hours of 2pm – 3am, 5 days a week (Accommodation for sleepovers provided on-site).
o     Be willing to work on weekends based on client needs.

o Independently resolves telephone inquiries from customers or escalates issues to management
o High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including advanced knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, Teams, and Internet web browsers such as Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge
o Strong communication skills both written (email/messaging) and verbal communication utilizing proper grammar and punctuation
o Basic to intermediate math skills to calculate sales data or create reports
o Ability to work independently while processing the flexibility to assist others
o Ability to prioritize and handle multitask and be orientated in a fast-paced environment
o Ability to multitask multiple systems, screens, and tasks during customer contact
o Candidates must be capable of taking a task with minimal instructions and exceeding expectations with strong follow-up skills and a detailed orientation
o Ability to start work at any time
o Work schedules require the ability and willingness to work any seven days of the week including weekends
o Ability to learn and adapt to new software technologies
o Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of this position
